Police have now charged a second man from the West Midlands following a car-jacking incident in Lower Penn, South Staffordshire, in January.
The man, aged 24, from Kidderminster, has been charged with robbery, two counts of affray, two counts of fraud, and attempted theft of a motor vehicle. He has been remanded into custody.
At around 1.30pm on Monday 29 January, an armed robbery of a motor vehicle took place on Dimmingsdale Road, near Lower Penn.
Inspector Richard Meaden Local Policing Team Commander South Staffordshire said: “This is a great result and it was only a matter of time before we caught up with the outstanding offender. I’d like to thank the local community for their support during this investigation and remind residents that fortunately these type of offences are a rare occurrence in South Staffordshire.”
