APPEAL: Following burglary in Essington

Hello ,

Officers from Staffordshire Police are appealing for information after rare bottles of whisky, worth tens of thousands of pounds, were stolen from an address in South Staffordshire.

During the evening of Monday 12 November, thieves forced their way into the property on Sneyd Lane, Essington, by smashing a patio door.

Once inside they have completed an untidy search and stolen bottles of whisky including Macallan special editions and Port Ellen annual releases from a specialist collection. It is believed that
the suspects used a light coloured old style panel van, similar to a 2003 Peugeot expert, to transport the goods. If you know where the stolen property is or if you have any information please contact us by emailing Daniel.Champeau@staffordshire.pnn.police.uk quoting incident number 810 of 12 November.
You can also report crime by contacting the independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
