Just a reminder that it is the Bilbrook Christmas Light Switch on tonight. (see below for timings)
We are very excited to hear Father Christmas and Wolfie will be on their way to us shortly!
The pupils of Lane Green First School and Bilbrook Middle School have been practising their Christmas Songs to entertain you.
This year we are joined for the first time by the Codsall Singers so please give them a warm welcome.
The Salvation Army will be playing as usual. Residents are invited to sing Christmas Carols with them. (song sheet attached)
A big thank you to the Woodman pub who are waiving the parking charges for tonight’s event.
Thank you also to Budgens, the Coop Birches Bridge, Bilbrook Cafe and everyone else who have donated tombola prizes for this evening. All money raised from the Tombola will go to Bilbrook Parish Council’s chosen charity for this year; the Codsall & Bilbrook Cancer Support Group.
Lane Green First School PTFA will have a stall raising money for the school. Tettenhall Rotary will also be collecting for Compton Hospice. Please dig deep and support all these local groups and charities.
It is forecasting dry but cold weather for tonight so please wrap up warm. Also, given the rain of late, the Village Green may be a bit muddy so please wear suitable footwear.
Don’t forget to bring your letter to Father Christmas. Please queue on the path if you want to visit him and pass it to him personally. There is no charge to visit Father Christmas, however, a generous donation in the collection buckets would be appreciated.
Have a great evening.
