Bilbrook play park, Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA), Skate Park and playing fields

23.03.2020 – Bilbrook Parish Council will continue to keep the play park, Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA), Skate Park and playing fields open as long as Government guidelines allow.

The World Health Organization and other health authorities have emphasised that both washing one’s hands and cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces daily are key in preventing Covid-19’s spread. So although we still don’t know exactly how many cases are being caused directly by contaminated surfaces, we would advise:

  • Follow "Social Distancing" rules – Stay at least 2 metres away from others.
  • Bring your own bats, balls, and toys, and clean them after each visit.
  • Avoid touching equipment surfaces if possible.
  • Bring sanitizing wipes to the park and wipe down any playground equipment before AND after use.
  • Use one piece of equipment per family.
  • Discourage children from touching their face.
  • Avoid playdates and team games
  • Avoid bringing food and drink to the park.
  • Place all litter in the bins provided or take it home
  • Clean up after your dog and place dog bags in the bin or take them home.
  • Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds as soon as you get home.
