I was born in the Black Country and moved to Bilbrook when I got married in 1982. I became familiar with the village as I was a youth leader at Codsall Youth Club from 1979, continuing in that role for almost 20 years. We have raised our family here and always enjoyed getting involved in various voluntary roles. I was Chair of Lane Green PTA for two years, and coached at Bilbrook Juniors for eight years. More recently, I was very happy to be part of Bilbrook Initiatives Hub, which provided some important community support, particularly during the Covid lockdown. I continue to help out with Bilbrook Repair Cafe and Friends of Bilbrook activities.

I always try to make a positive contribution towards our village, so when the opportunity to become a Parish Councillor arose, I was happy to take on the role.
