Great British Spring Clean
Thank you to the Friends of Bilbrook and all those who turned up for their Great British Spring Clean. The village looks so much better after all your efforts, thank you. 26 sacks of litter were collected, most of it single-use plastic. Single-use plastic really is the worst of all litter. It has an extremely short useful life, but then stays around for hundreds of years, slowly breaking down into microplastics.
Thank you also to the Woodman Inn for providing free tea and coffee after the litter pick.
