Great British Spring Clean
Thank you to all those community minded residents, district councillors, parish councils, and members of the Bilbrook Climate Action Group who turned out for the Great British Spring Clean. We were also joined by the Bilbrook and Codsall Beavers.
Lots of litter was collected, which is a sad indictment on some of the people who live and pass through our village. 27 bags of litter were collected in total as well as 3 fly tips and 2 abandoned cars reported.
We want to thank all those who turned up and give a special thank you to the Beavers. We would also like to thank our great community pub the The Olde Vic Ale House who hosted us afterwards with much welcome free cups of tea and coffee.
Tree Planting on Bilbrook Road
An enormous thank you to Friends of Bilbrook , Forest of Mercia CIC and the Parish Councillors and Residents who volunteered with them yesterday planting 8 new trees along Bilbrook Road. It was a beautiful but sunny day, and how lovely to see the new trees in place.
We’re very proud of our volunteer groups and individuals in Bilbrook – they do an amazing job.
The trees were planted as part of the Trees for Climate initiative.
