Grant Funding

The Parish Council has the power under the General Power of Competence to award grant funding to organisations working for the benefit of the community in the parish.

To be considered for an award, applicants must apply for a grant using the application form, meet the criteria detailed within the application and provide the necessary information.

Gazebo for Groups Grant
Local community groups with a stall at the Bilbrook Light Switch-On and/or the Bilbrook Fete can apply for a grant to help towards the cost of a gazebo.  To apply:

• Complete our regular grant application form, making sure to include your upcoming stall booking details for the Bilbrook Light Switch-On or Bilbrook Fete, as well as an estimated cost and the required size of the gazebo.
• Please note that for any gazebo larger than 3ft x 3ft, a clear written justification for the larger size must be included.
• Submit your completed form to the Parish Council for review:- clerk@bilbrookparishcouncil.gov.uk
• Applications must be formally approved by the Parish Council before any purchases are made.
• An original itemised receipt must be provided to the council following the purchase to complete the process.
• The Local Community Group will be responsible for the storage of the gazebo between Bilbrook Parish Council events.  The gazebo can be used for other non-Parish Council events.
