In 2021, Bilbrook Parish Council started to develop a Neighbourhood Plan to outline the Parish’s priorities in terms of infrastructure, facilities, and future development. Parish Councils are being encouraged to develop Neighbourhood Plans that outline how communities would like to improve their villages and their surroundings in the future. It will also help provide some protection to this village in respect of inappropriate and speculative development, protecting open spaces, and supporting the need for infrastructure improvements.
Residents’ Survey
In the Spring of 2022, we asked all Bilbrook Parish residents for their comments and feedback about how they felt about living in Bilbrook and what they would like the Parish to be in the future. You can see the results here.
In May 2025, Bilbrook’s draft Neighbourhood Plan reached Regulation 14 status, which involved a consultation with all residents, business owners and other stakeholders in Bilbrook on the proposed policies. The consultation ran from 27th May 2025 to 8th July 2025.
