Volunteer Parish Operatives
Bilbrook Parish Council is always looking for volunteers to ensure that the Parish is kept clean, safe, well presented, and maintained to a high standard.
Hours: Worked flexibly according to volunteers’ availability.
Duties and Responsibilities: – Litterpicking / weeding around Bilbrook
Equipment: The volunteer will be loaned a litter picking pack & guidance

Part-Time Parish Operative
Bilbrook Parish Council wishes to appoint a Temporary Part-Time Parish Operative to ensure that the Parish is kept clean, safe, well presented and maintained to a high standard.
Hours: 10 hours per week, worked flexibly according to the needs of the Parish Council.
Pay: The National Minimum Wage (NMW) / National Living Wage (NLW) dependant on age paid per calendar month.
Responsible to: The Clerk to the Parish Council.
Personal skills: Experience of working in a similar role would be beneficial. The applicant should be skilled, observant, and hardworking with strong problem-solving abilities, have good physical stamina, be trustworthy, flexible, and willing to work outside in all weathers both alone and as part of a team. Ideally, they should be reasonably competent with email. This role would suit a community-minded person.
