Bilbrook May Day Walk 6th May 2024
We sometimes forget how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful Parish. The Parish Council wants to encourage residents to get active and enjoy what we have on our doorstep. With the help of Bilbrook Walking Group and the Friends of Bilbrook, we are organising a walk on the May Day bank holiday. Well, it will be two walks! A long one and a short to give residents of all abilities the option to do one or both walks: Provisional timings are as follows:
Long Walk – 10:00 am – a 4.53-mile walk to Clewley Coppice & back. (see map 1 below)
Short Walk – 1:00 pm – a 1.39-mile walk to Jubilee Wood & back. (see map 2 below)
Both walks will start at Bilbrook Village Hall where refreshments will be provided following each walk. Parking is available at the Village Hall and the car park on the bend of Joeys Lane, however, residents are encouraged to come on foot. You are advised to bring a drink, wear suitable clothing and footwear and be prepared in case of a change in the weather. We have litter pickers that can be borrowed if anyone would like to pick up litter, as sadly know there will be litter left along the routes.
